Building a Better Onboarding Experience — April 9, 2026

Today was a heads-down building day at Advisorly. Our core product — 23 AI-powered advisors, strategic question pipeline, and advisory response system — is running smoothly, and our landing page and pricing are live and polished. But having a great product isn't enough if new users don't experience its value quickly. That's the challenge we're tackling head-on. We spent the day focused on three major initiatives. First, we're building a significantly improved onboarding flow so that new users are guided from signup to their first advisory question in under two minutes. We want every founder who joins Advisorly to immediately feel the power of having a full advisory board at their fingertips. Second, we're launching an automated email system to welcome new users and help anyone who hasn't yet explored the platform get started with personalized nudges and tips. Third, we published our first blog content — starting with 'Why Every Founder Needs an Advisory Board (And How AI Makes It Accessible)' — as we build out a library of resources for early-stage founders navigating critical business decisions. Looking ahead, we're also working on smarter conversion experiences within the product itself, so users who are getting real value from their AI advisory board have a clear and natural path to our paid plans. Our goal is simple: make Advisorly the most accessible, highest-value advisory experience a founder can have — and make sure every new user discovers that within minutes of signing up.
