Legal TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

Last updated ยท 28 June 2026

Please note: this is a plain-language template provided for transparency. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed and tailored by a qualified lawyer before you rely on it.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Advisorly ("Advisorly", "we", "us"). By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or otherwise using Advisorly's website, decision engine, academy, library, or related services (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service & AI-output disclaimer

Advisorly provides an AI "decision engine" that produces decision breakdowns, along with guides, workshops, a private library, and related materials. Breakdowns and all other output are decision support, not professional advice. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, or other professional advice, and no advisor-client or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the Service.

AI-generated output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. You are responsible for evaluating it, for seeking qualified professional advice where appropriate, and for any decision you make. You own your decisions and their consequences. Advisorly does not make decisions for you and is not responsible for the outcomes of choices you make.

3. Accounts

To use most of the Service you'll need an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Billing, the $1 trial & subscriptions

$1 trial. We may offer a one-time trial that gives you a single decision breakdown for $1. The trial is a one-off charge, not a subscription, and does not auto-renew into a paid plan unless you separately choose to subscribe.

Membership. Advisorly membership is offered on a recurring basis (for example, $159/month, which includes a set number of decision breakdowns per month). By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Fees are billed in advance and are stated at checkout. Prices and included limits may change; we'll give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods or unused breakdowns.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful; attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; resell or redistribute output as if it were professional advice; misrepresent AI output as human-certified advice; submit content you don't have the right to submit; or use the Service to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design system, guides, frameworks, and branding, is owned by Advisorly and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business purposes while these Terms are in effect.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (such as the decisions you describe). You grant us a licence to process that content to provide the Service, including sending it to our AI providers to generate breakdowns. Subject to these Terms, the breakdowns we generate for you are yours to use in your business.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Advisorly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service or any decision you make based on it. To the extent we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
